We started working on this project in August 2019. Rolling Food is a food truck catering service. Their food truck drives through the whole of Switzerland – for every event and occasion like corporate catering, weddings, birthdays, Christmas and other private catering. The client initially approached us for Website Redesign and Google Adwords work.

Nature of the Problem

Initially, we were contracted for website redesign but our contract was extended to PPC and SEO services. The website that they had initially was built on a CRM and was very basic website and not user friendly. The business wasn’t ranking for any relevant keywords and also none of the Pay Per Click campaigns were converting. So, initially there were 3 problems areas that the business needed help with:

We used the same logo and color theme as on the existing website but gave it a complete overhaul. The website was built keeping in mind that it should be mobile-friendly and should have a faster loading time. We used the WordPress platform for the development of the website. The website was built for Dutch and English languages. Furthermore, we added various user friendly functionalities like a multi-step contact form, direct WhatsApp messaging, highly elaborated menu with lots of pictures because we have to agree if it isn’t mouth watering, you are not going to order it! The overall process of redesigning and developing the website took around 60 working days.

SEO of Rolling Food website and Google My Business Listing

The Rolling Food website and GMB had never been optimized for Google search engine and Google Maps. After the website development was complete, we pushed the website to a live server.

Once we fixed all the technical issues, we started with the on-page and off-page SEO of the website.

Our target area was Switzerland but the prime target was Zurich.

Google Analytics Organic Traffic May 2nd – August 31 VS September 1st – December 31

New Users, Month over Month. Every month, as a result of the SEO campaign the website gained more monthly traffic. There was approximately a 70% increase in users. You can see our results are slowly compounding as the months progress throughout the SEO campaign.

Below are the GIFs of a few keywords that we tracked with the help of Local Vikings. We use this tool to get the Google My Business ranking of the keywords. In the SEO360 campaign, we take care of both website’s organic ranking and the Google Maps ranking of the business.

Each grid in these GIFs is 25kms apart from each other. We had to cover the whole of Switzerland in the tracking so 25kms of distance was selected. Each Geogrid gives us a ranking of GMB listing on that coordinate.

Pay Per Click

The major issue that the client faced was getting bad quality leads and not being able to track what was converting in her Google AdWords campaigns. We set up the conversion tracking properly and launched new campaigns that ensured maximum possible leads at the lowest possible cost. The results were excellent and we were able to generate extremely high-quality leads for Rolling Food.
